A Short Rant

An awful lot of musicians of all stripes talk a fantastic amount of shit when they discuss music, drowning in a sea of metaphorical bollocks in an attempt not to say "Frankly I do it because I fucking love the noise it makes and the way it makes me feel". They should be forced to repeat the quotation below (one of my favourite quotes on music ever) like a mantra until they either shut up, red faced and guilty, every time they're about to describe their latest opus as the musical equivalent of Finnegan's Wake or actually sit down and really think about what they mean before they open their fucking gobs.
